His blistering performance in the final overs propelled the team to a challenging total of 177/3 against the Mumbai Indians. Krunal Pandya also made a solid contribution of 49 runs before retiring.
Piyush Chawla had an immediate impact, dismissing Quinton de Kock with his very first delivery of the match. Subsequently, Pandya and Stoinis formed a partnership to recover from the early setback.
Jason Behrendorff provided two crucial breakthroughs for the Mumbai Indians, taking out Deepak Hooda and Prerak Mankad in consecutive deliveries.
