In pursuit of this target, Rinku Singh played a sensational knock, remaining unbeaten on 67 off just 33 deliveries, while Jason Roy contributed a brisk 45 runs off 28 balls. Despite their valiant efforts, the Kolkata Knight Riders fell agonizingly short by a solitary run, finishing their innings at 175 for seven.
Under the leadership of Krunal Pandya, the Lucknow Super Giants have displayed commendable performances in recent matches, even in the absence of their star player KL Rahul. The overseas duo of Quinton de Kock and Marcus Stoinis has been in impressive form with the bat, consistently contributing valuable runs to the team's cause.
